On April 24th WHSAD and GYC students were joined by Assemblyman Joe Lentol to officially dedicate the Walentas Family Foundation tree guards. The students have been working on designing and assembling the guards for the last few weeks. Students also received a workshop on gardening skills led by Dana Rachlin. Students were treated to a Barbecue from Rich Mazur and the North Brooklyn Development Corporation.
