How has it been adapting to high-school so far? How is it different from middle school?
“I think I’ve been good so far. I’ve already gotten adjusted to all of the classes I have, and I’ve created some goals for me to complete this year such as, how I want to get started on working or even get some experience with the projects that we do in Makerspace. Overall, I think everything I’ve had so far has been a smooth transition.”
How do you feel about this environment? How has the experience with students and teachers been?
“Everybody’s nice, the teachers and students are nice. And, if you need to ask for help, they’ll help you. I think that if you treat people nice, you get the same treatment back.”
What are some projects you’re working on right now? Any projects you have in mind for the future?
“There is this one for Makerspace. It is a modern house that is going to be turned into a haunted house. I haven’t finished it yet, it’s in the process but I’m going to finish it and add some Halloween additions to it.”
“I would like to do more architecture projects and more projects surrounding the architecture field including creating a design.”
What’s your goal for this year?
“My goal for 9th grade would be to learn as much as I can.”
Why did you choose WHSAD?
“Since I want to become an architect, I want to learn how to become one and also take advantage of the opportunities here at WHSAD, so I can have the best learning in order to become a good architect.”
What did you look forward to learning or being exposed to here?
“Definitely get exposed to a lot more internship choices surrounding the architecture field, and get a lot of work experience done because I know a lot of jobs ask for that.”
