WHSAD is having an in-person graduation this year that will also be live streamed for family member and students who do not wish to attend. PLACE: Domino Park at the corner of South1st and River Street in Brooklyn. DATE: June 21st, 2021 TIME: The school will be conducting 3 different ceremonies due to Covid 19 restrictions starting at 10:00 am. Time slots will be determined by student through an electronic survey and families will be informed of the time their students chose in the coming weeks. Senior photos: In order to ensure that senior pictures are entered into the yearbook they have to schedule their photo appointments by February 28th, 2021. If the date seniors want isn't popping up on the link, please call the studio they will try their best to accommodate their request. Senior dues: The final two days for Ms. Nelson to collect senior dues are February 23rd and 25th, 2021. If seniors want a swag package they have to pay your dues by the dates indicated above. Updated information regarding senior photos
Dear Parents/guardians/students, Prestige photos was scheduled to come to our building and take pictures of our seniors this school year but because of the uncertainty of the opening of our school and the time restraints we have until graduation we had to change photo studios. We are now working with Portrait USA to expedite the senior photos. This company requires that: The seniors log on to the link that is included with this letter and choose the date and time they will be able to go to the studio and take their pictures.A sitting fee of $15.00. New dates for senior dues collection
Miss Nelson will be in the building from 10 am - 12 pm on the following days to collect senior dues payments. The dues are $110.00 only cash and money orders are accepted. New dates January 26th and 28th. February 9th and 11th February 23rd and 25th. After these dates no more payments will be collected as we need to place the order for the senior swag package. Undated information on senior pictures and cap and gown.
We are unsure whether school buildings will remain off-limits in January due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this our school has: Rescheduled picture days to February 22nd and 23rd, 2021. Photos will be taken in the auditorium of our school. Your son/daughter will get an invitation in the mail with the specific date and time they will be taking their pictures. If for some reason students cannot take their picture on the date and time given, a make-up date is scheduled for March 26th for them to do so. Out of an abundance of caution, there will be no sharing of garments while photos are taken. Tomorrow Thursday is a snow day so Ms. Nelson will not be in the building to collecting senior dues. Instead she will be there next Tuesday December 21st from 10 am -12 pm. The ‘Senior Dues’ for the class of 2021 will be $110.00 per Senior. Only cash and money order is accepted, no personal checks. Attached is a list of what the Senior Dues cover and the deadlines and location for the payment of the dues, senior pictures and ring information and the Senior Contract.
