Internship Opportunity at Donor’s Choose
At DonorsChoose.org, our interns do more than getting coffee and making copies. Interns are essential in helping the Donor Appreciation Team execute what we like to call our “special sauce” - handwritten student thank-you notes. Interns will work alongside our volunteers to review student thank-yous to protect student privacy, check them into our computer system, and mail the thank-yous to eager donors - all within 24 hours. Do you enjoy doodling? Are you creative? Doodle 4 Google is an annual contest open to students in grades K-12. Students are invited to create their own Google doodle for the chance to have it featured on the Google homepage. From cave paintings to selfies, artists have always found creative ways of expressing themselves. Now, with the Google homepage as their canvas, we’re asking students to do the same. Applications for Pace University Upward Board Program are now available in the Guidance Office. Applications are due Friday October 23rd. Upward Bound is a year-round educational program that helps students make the successful transition from high school into college. Students in Upward Bound attend classes at Pace University on select Saturdays during the school year. In the summer, they Upward Bound Summer Academy meets for six weeks. ACE Mentor Program
The ACE Mentor Program is a free after-school program that helps mentor high school students and inspires them to pursue careers in design and construction. The program also helps students who are uncertain about their future and want to explore new paths. In the ACE program, students learn first-hand what it is like to work in the design and construction industry and develop a design project in consultation with industry professionals.
