We can calculate the distance of any diagonal line by imagining it as the hypotenuse of a right triangle. Topic 2 (Midpoints)
The midpoint of a line is a point in the middle... It seems obvious doesn't it? Technically a midpoint is a point on a line that divides it into two congruent segments We can calculate any midpoint by looking at the x-coordinates of two points and finding their average. We can then find the average of the y-coordinates and use our results as the coordinates of our midpoint. Check out the diagram below.
