Groundswell’s Portfolio Program provides intensive portfolio development for youth in 11th and 12th grades, focused on preparing young people for art college admission and scholarship. For acceptance into art colleges and universities, you need to present a portfolio: a collection of your artwork organized to demonstrate your drawing skills, personal artistic exploration, and your creative potential. The program will help you prepare your portfolio and applications for admission to art colleges around the nation. The Portfolio Program meets once a week, Mondays, 4pm-7pm, October 24 th, 2016 through December 16th, 2016. Accepted young artists will receive a considerable materials and travel stipend with full attendance.
Applications are due Friday, Oct 7 th at 4:00pm
