Today we discussed Networking. I expressed the fact that using your contacts when looking for a job can have a positive outcome. Many students asked questions pertaining to using their contacts and asked,” why it is important to call on them when you might be looking for a job?” Some student felt it wasnt a good idea to ask anyone for help. I challenged those students about why they felt that way. They all responded by saying, “they didnt want anyone to know their business.”
