This week we have worked on how to conduct a Socratic Seminar. Thank you all very much for participating and showing a willingness to discuss literature with your classmates and the world-related questions that the world of fictional dystopia can bring us. You all did phenomenally.
If you missed class Monday, yesterday, or today, there is an assignment due for Friday.
Directions: In 6-8 COMPLETE sentences, explain what you would be willing to die for. However, you cannot choose friends, family, goldfish, hamsters or anything that breathes. NO PEOPLE! What would you be willing to die for?
This is not a light-hearted question. And here is some food for thought:
“A man who won’t die for something is not fit to live.” -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Enjoy.
