Today we looked at three types of angles that intercept arcs in circles.
The first angle is a central angle – an angle formed by two radii
a central angle is equal to its intercepted arc
An inscribed angle – an angle formed by two chords with its vertex on the edge of the circle
an inscribed angle is equal to one half of its intercepted arc
A tangent chord angle is an angle formed by a tangent and a chord
a tangent chord angle is equal to one half of its intercepted arc
