Grab your friends and take over The Met for the evening with Teens Take The Met! These are teen-only activities across the museum including art making, performances, music, and more. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. It is free and open to all teens 13+ with a high school ID. The date is Friday, November 9th, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and bring your school ID.
If you are between the ages of 14-18, you are invited to the Open House Edition of Teen Night at the Schomburg Center. You can bring your own poems, lyrics, and creative spirit to this evening of spoken word, emceeing, singing and dancing. Open Mic will be from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and there will be a dance party from 8:00-9:00 p.m. If you are interested in performing, please arrive early to sign up. The date is Saturday, November 10th, 2018 from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Calling all teens from 13-18. Battery Park is having a FREE party just for you. Join them for a night of dancing and singing your hearts out to three different channels of music! They’ll have something for everyone, from Top 40, to throwback, to Hip Hop. Grab your squad and get on the dance floor. You will get a pair of quiet event headphones, glow in the dark gear, and you’ll experience 2 live DJs battling for your attention. The dress code is casual. The date is Friday, November 16th, 2018 from 7:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
