On behalf of the Deans’ Office, I would like to welcome all incoming freshmen and returning upperclassmen back to WHSAD for what surely will be a safe and successful 2013 – 2014 school year.
I am personally excited and optimistic about this school year. Although challenges do lie ahead, I firmly believe that all WHSAD students are capable of tackling such challenges. However, it is up to you, the WHSAD student, to do what is expected from you and for us to work as a team, to learn and to listen from one another.
If you haven’t already done so, please download the Chancellor’s Discipline Code for the 2013 – 2014 school year by clicking on this link. The Discipline Code highlights the various disciplinary measures the Deans plan to use if students fail to behave in our learning community.
Furthermore, please remember that, according to Chancellor’s Regulations, students are not permitted to bring cell phones and other electronic devices to school, unless an appropriate medical form filled out by a licensed physician is on file. Please download the form and leave them in my mailbox as soon as possible. If a student brings his/her cell phone to school without the appropriate paperwork, then the device will be confiscated and will only be returned to the student’s parent/guardian.
